By accessing or using our website, submitting information through the website, or enrolling in our SMS program, you agree to the portions of these Terms applicable to that activity. If you do not agree, do not use the applicable website feature or communication channel.
These Terms do not replace any patient agreement, assignment of benefits, financial policy, provider agreement, prescription, informed-consent document, HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, or other agreement that separately applies to Versa Cardio's healthcare services. If a conflict exists, the more specific healthcare or contractual document controls for its subject matter.
2. Healthcare information and emergencies
Website and text-message content is provided for general information, service coordination, and administrative communication. It is not a substitute for professional medical judgment, diagnosis, or treatment. Your treating or prescribing healthcare provider is responsible for medical decisions and for explaining how monitoring information relates to your care.
Do not use this website, email, or text messaging for an emergency. If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek emergency medical care immediately. Delivery and review of electronic communications may be delayed and are not guaranteed.
Do not delay or disregard medical advice because of information appearing on our website or in an administrative message. Questions about symptoms, diagnosis, medications, or treatment should be directed to your healthcare provider.
3. Permitted website use
You may use our public website for lawful informational and business purposes. You agree not to:

Separate portal, service, customer, or provider terms may apply. Access to clinical or patient information is limited to authorized users and may be monitored, logged, suspended, or terminated as permitted by law and applicable agreements.
5. Website content and intellectual property
The website and its text, graphics, logos, designs, photographs, software, interfaces, and other content are owned by or licensed to Versa Cardio and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Versa Cardio grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to access and use the public website for its intended lawful purposes.
Versa Cardio names, logos, product names, service names, and related branding may not be used in a manner suggesting sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation without prior written permission. No ownership rights are transferred under these Terms.
6. Versa Cardio SMS Program Terms
The following terms apply when you opt in to receive SMS or MMS text messages from Versa Cardio.
SMS program summary
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing or receiving Versa Cardio services. You may request communication by another available method.
Program description and message types
Versa Cardio may send informational and customer-care messages related to cardiac-monitoring services. Messages may include:
- Patient enrollment, identity confirmation, and service-onboarding communications;
- Device shipment, setup, connectivity, troubleshooting, use, and return instructions;
- Monitoring, appointment, testing, or service-status reminders and notifications;
- Requests for information reasonably necessary to administer the monitoring service;
- Insurance eligibility, authorization, claim-status, and coverage-related communications;
- Requested billing, account-status, or patient-responsibility information; and
- Responses to patient or customer questions and other service-related support.
The program is intended for informational and customer-care communications. Versa Cardio will not send marketing or promotional text messages unless you provide any separate consent required by law.
How you consent
You may opt in through an affirmative web-form selection, a written or electronic consent process, a recorded verbal process where legally permitted, by initiating an SMS conversation, or through another method that clearly identifies Versa Cardio and the types of messages requested. Consent applies only to the message program and telephone number for which it was provided.
By opting in, you represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided and that you are authorized to consent to receive messages at that number. We may maintain records of consent, opt-ins, and opt-outs as required for compliance.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on your monitoring service, device or account activity, insurance or billing status, and interactions with Versa Cardio. Your mobile carrier's message and data rates may apply. Versa Cardio does not charge a separate fee for participating in the SMS program, but your carrier may impose charges under your wireless plan.
Opting out
You may stop Versa Cardio text messages at any time by replying STOP. We may send one final message confirming your opt-out. You may also communicate an opt-out request by contacting us at (855) 329-5794.
After opting out, you will no longer receive messages from the applicable SMS program unless you later provide a new opt-in. An SMS opt-out does not affect communications that are legally required or sent through other channels, such as telephone or mail.
Help and support
Reply HELP for assistance or call (855) 329-5794. Support availability and response times may vary. HELP and STOP instructions are not monitored as emergency-medical requests.
Telephone-number changes
You agree to notify us before discontinuing or transferring a mobile number enrolled in our SMS program. This helps prevent messages concerning your services or account from reaching a subsequent user of the number.
Delivery and participating carriers
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on carrier networks and other systems outside Versa Cardio's control and is not guaranteed. SMS availability may vary by carrier, device, location, and wireless plan. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the SMS program when necessary for operational, legal, carrier, or compliance reasons.
SMS privacy
SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates. Mobile telephone numbers and SMS opt-in information are not sold, rented, traded, or provided to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Please review our Privacy Policy for additional information.
Protecting sensitive information
Text messaging may not be fully secure. Do not send detailed medical information, payment-card numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information by SMS unless Versa Cardio specifically directs you to an authorized secure process. We may redirect a conversation to telephone, mail, or a secure system when appropriate.
7. Privacy
Our collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal information is described in the Versa Cardio Privacy Policy. Protected health information may also be governed by an applicable HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. By using the website or SMS program, you acknowledge that electronic communications involve risks and may be processed by service providers necessary to operate those communications.
8. Third-party websites and services
Our website or messages may contain links to third-party websites, portals, carriers, vendors, or services. A link does not imply that Versa Cardio controls or endorses the third party. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices, and Versa Cardio is not responsible for their availability, security, content, or practices.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the public website and its general informational content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Versa Cardio does not warrant that the website or electronic communications will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or free from harmful components.
We endeavor to provide accurate information but do not warrant that all public website content is complete, current, or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, duties, or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including obligations applicable to healthcare services or protected health information.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Versa Cardio and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising solely from use of, or inability to use, the public website or SMS communication channel.
This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law and does not limit liability or obligations that cannot legally be limited, including any rights arising under applicable healthcare, privacy, consumer-protection, or other mandatory laws. It also does not alter responsibilities established by a separate written healthcare, patient, provider, or customer agreement.
11. Changes, suspension, and termination
We may revise these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, communications practices, technology, carrier requirements, or legal obligations. Revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after the revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
We may suspend or terminate website or messaging access when reasonably necessary to prevent misuse, protect security or privacy, comply with law or carrier requirements, or discontinue a feature. You may discontinue use of the public website at any time and may leave the SMS program by replying STOP.
12. General terms
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
You may not assign rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Versa Cardio may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or operation of its business, subject to applicable law.
